The Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland is a Reformed denomination with congregations in many countries. Click here to view the denomination’s website in a new tab.
The congregations in Stornoway and Achmore were formed in 1893.
In doctrine, the Church’s only supreme standard is Scripture – all the books of the Old and New Testaments. The entire Westminster Confession of Faith is its unqualified subordinate standard.
The Church uses the Authorised Version (KJV) of the Bible and the Scottish Metrical Psalms (1650 Psalter)
Minister: There is currently a pastoral vacancy due to the retirement of the Rev. Dr James R. Tallach in April 2024
